'Clean Physique' is a term I came up with that I felt described my mission, both personal and professional, in as few words as possible. My physique is something I'm working very hard on daily, and Clean refers to an 'eating clean' nutrition plan.
Eating clean is simply treating your body right. It's about eating lean protein, complex carbs, and healthy fats. Doing this keeps your blood-sugar levels stable and keep you feeling satisfied. The best part about eating clean is that if you need to lose weight it will happen almost without having to try. And you don't completely blow it if you have a treat from time to time. Restriction leads to rebellion, so it's not about restricting, but rather being smart about what you put in your body.
Eating clean is NOT a diet, it's a lifestyle. It doesn't involve counting calories or fat grams or any of that BS that never leads to continued success and management. It's about eating the way nature intended us to eat, and the incredible thing about it is that it takes care of what your specific body needs. If you need to lose weight, it allows that, if you're simply maintaining, it holds you there, and even if you need to put on weight, it will also balance that out. Not to mention you will feel the best you've ever felt! And did I mention that these foods are delicious? And you can eat eat eat all day long with them? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
